FOREST GROVE PUBLIC SCHOOL

Logan Wesley, an eighth grade Forest Grove School athlete, recently was selected to be a member of the inaugural 2022 Inter-tribal Rising Stars basketball team. The purpose of the Oklahoma Inter-tribal Rising Stars team is to honor and reward the hard work of Native American student athletes who will be graduating from the eighth grade at an Oklahoma Rural Elementary School (ORES) by showcasing and displaying the Native American student athlete's character and talent. The primary goal of the event is to act as a catalyst for the student athletes as they transition to their high school basketball career. Logan was nominated by his basketball coach, Johnnie Wright, and recommended by two of his core academic teachers at Forest Grove School.
