Elementary camp is June 4th-6th for students entering 1st through 4th grade in the 2024-2025 school year. Middle School camp is June 10-14th for students entering 5th through 8th grade.

Our school calendar has been updated with a change to our final day. May 14th will be the last day of school. School will dismiss that day at 12:00 for students and staff to begin summer break.
Parents,
State testing will begin soon. Below you can see the scheduled testing dates for each grade. IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT THAT WE HAVE ALL STUDENTS AT SCHOOL ON TIME FOR THE DAYS OF THEIR TESTS. However, please don't send your child with a fever to school that day. Our teachers are reviewing material for the tests and preparing students for testing, so it is important that we have all students in attendance before testing also.
Please take note of when your student(s) is/are testing and make adjustments to scheduled appointments if necessary. It is extremely important that we have ALL students at school on time for the days of their tests.

A couple of #thegrove students ran in and placed in Idabel's Dogwood Days 5k. Congratulations to Tristan and Britney!
#thegrove's Family Fling Dance will be Saturday, 4/13/24, from 6-8 pm in the gym at Forest Grove School. All students attending must be accompanied by an adult family member. Tickets can be purchased in advance from Ms. Gilbert or at the door. If you have questions, please contact Ms. Gilbert at the school.
While we are all waiting on the Solar Eclipse this Monday, be sure to take some time to read the safety precautions and tips for safe viewing. I've got my glasses and a filter for my phone in hopes of catching a great shot! Don't forget, #thegrove will be having virtual days 4/8 and 4/9 and will not have in person attendance at school. All students should have brought home paper packets to complete for the virtual days.
ATTENTION JOM PARENTS/GUARDIANS:
The Forest Grove School JOM Parent Committee will meet at 4:15 on Wednesday, April 17th in the Administration Building. Discussion to include the application for the FY25 School Year. Parents/Guardians of Native American students are invited and encouraged to attend, contact Jackie at 580-212-0831 with any questions.
Spring Pictures will be taken tomorrow, Tuesday, 4/2/24, at #thegrove. We request students do not wear green as a green screen will be utilized and can cause the process to go awry.
#thegrove's school counselor, Mrs. Gilbert, in conjunction with SOS for Families, brought an informative program to our 3rd-8th students about the importance of personal hygiene. SOS for Families provided each of those students with an individual bag of personal hygiene items. A huge SHOUT OUT to SOS for Families! Thank you for showing your love and support to our students.
